| The Immunoassay Laboratory provides an ACTH
assay for the SAS and has particular expertise in disorders
involving the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, growth, inter-sex,
catecholamines and steroid metabolism strengthened by its close
links with the clinical department of Endocrinology to which
patients are referred nationally. Other areas of special interest
encompass nephrology, oncology and reproductive physiology. |
